[Neurodebian-users] OpenWalnut crashing at start

Hi

Ok the simple answer is: OpenWalnut does not work in a VirtualBox. Although VirtualBox provides some OpenGL 3D support, it does not fully comply to the standard (and we rely on it). 

The reason why you could not install the packages in NeuroDebian 6 is, as I think, that NeuroDebian 6 is based on Debian Squeeze. You probably used a Debian Unstable package.

As a solution, you can of course download the Windows Binary: http://static.openwalnut.org/download/windows/OpenWalnut-1.3.0+hg5817.zip ... but please keep in mind that the graphics card you are using is not optimized for high-performance 3D graphics.
