Hello,

I'm having issues installing condor on Ubuntu 10.04. I initially tried to install condor.

I have FSL 5.0 installled, and have the Neurodebian repository setup already.

I typed the command:

sudo apt-get install condor.

After that, the following two screens for package configuration appeared and I clicked yes to both. After that, I received the following error message:

Warning: The home dir /var/lib/condor you specified can't be accessed: No such file or directory
Adding system user `condor' (UID 122) ...
Adding new user `condor' (UID 122) with group `condor' ...

mkdir: cannot create directory `/run/condor': No such file or directory
chown: cannot access `/run/condor': No such file or directory
FATAL: Required directory /run/condor does not exist, or is not a directory.
invoke-rc.d: initscript condor, action "restart" failed.
dpkg: error processing condor (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Processing triggers for libc-bin ...
ldconfig deferred processing now taking place
Errors were encountered while processing:
 condor
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I'm not sure, what is going on. I tried installing and removing and reinstalling with no such luck. I even removed the /etc/condor directory and tried reinstalling. Now I get this error message:

sudo apt-get install condor

condor is already the newest version.
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  nspluginwrapper patchutils dpatch
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 0B of additional disk space will be used.

I'm not sure what is going on.

Thanks,

D.
