Message-ID: Hi Yarik and Michael, I'm experimenting with dipy and python3 but cannot see a python3-dipy in neurodebian. Is there a specific reason for that? Is it because of the VTK dependency? Because matlab-support is made to workaround the reverse problem, Matlab will not launch after configuring (<=1 dock bounce, then nothing). After undoing the following library hacks done by matlab-support, normal operation is restored. - Terminal: cd /usr/local/MATLAB/R2018a/sys/os/glnxa64/ sudo mv -v libstdc++.so.6.bak libstdc++.so.6 sudo mv -v libgcc_s.so.1.bak libgcc_s.so.1 Thanks, Thad From emanuele at relativita.com Thu Jul 12 16:43:24 2018 From: emanuele at relativita.com (Emanuele Olivetti) Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2018 17:43:24 +0200 Subject: [Neurodebian-users] python3-dipy ? In the eternal quest of transitioning to python3 ;), dipy is one of the few things that stops me and other colleagues. We stick with what Neurodebian offers, in order to have a uniform and coherent envoronment. So yes, having python3-dipy would be nice. If I can be of help, I might find some time to dedicate. But consider that I am not familiar with preparing deb packages.
