This part of the patch is no good. While TIOCM_CAR is equivalent to
TIOCM_CD (at least in some implementations) CAR certainly isn't handled
the same as DCD by genericups. It won't be interpreted and as such will
not be used, so we shouldn't list this in the manpage either. I think the
best solution would be to merge type 22 and type 23 (as per my previous
message).
