Peter,
I have not got the megatec_usb working and talking to upsd. The
upsc command gives
battery.charge: 95.0
battery.voltage: 27.00
battery.voltage.nominal: 24.0
driver.name: megatec_usb
driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2
driver.parameter.port: auto
driver.version: 2.1.0
driver.version.internal: 1.5
input.frequency: 50.0
input.voltage: 248.0
input.voltage.fault: 140.0
input.voltage.maximum: 248.0
input.voltage.minimum: 246.5
output.voltage: 248.0
output.voltage.nominal: 240.0
ups.beeper.status: disabled
ups.delay.shutdown: 0
ups.delay.start: 2
ups.load: 11.0
ups.mfr: UIS AblerexAble
ups.model: ex USB Int rface 049e
ups.serial: unknown
ups.status: OL
ups.temperature: 25.0
I know the 'mfr' and 'model' fields are wrong. I may look at that next.
I have implemented the following commands.
Q1 Status Inquiry
Q Turn on/off beep (not sure this is working correctly)
C Cancel shutdown command
T 10 second test
I UPS Information Command (still needs work)
F UPS Rating Information
Regards
Jon
