Gabi: we need to have some more information about your problem.
Please send us back the following:
- exact name (manufacturer and model) of your unit (I don't see the other
type of Upguards you mentioned!)
- startup trace of the driver (using "megatec -DDD -a ...)
- some info about your linux system and the way you installed nut (packages
or sources)
