By the way, is it possible to force usbhid-ups to pretend that a given
USB device is another device?  That is, force it to ignore the vendor
and manufacturer strings and use instead the ones supplied from the
command line?  In this instance with the goal of trying to force the
Maruson device to be accessed as the nearest Belkin.  I see the Regular
expression options, but that's to find a USB  device, whereas here we
know where it is, but want to convince usbhid-ups that it is something else.
