I just committed r2431, that adds the 'baudrate' option to 'ups.conf'. Add

     baudrate = 9600

if you want to override the default value (2400). Just in case, it  
supports 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 and 19200. Let me know if I missed  
something here.
