[Nut-upsdev] Free and well documented NUT driver protocol

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for the link. It does seem what I am looking for. Are you aware 
of any similar standard created for a serial device? I have a working CDC 
usb setup, which is why I am asking. If required, will switch to HID though.
