So I would like to connect usb ups on a other machine just to have the state (load, temp, etc) of this ups. Do I need to reinstall a server or juste the driver and what I have to configure ?
You only need to run the driver on the computer with the physical
connection to the UPS.
If you just want to manually monitor the UPS, you can use 'upsc
name-of-ups at nut-srv'. For automatic shutdown, you probably want to
check the documentation.
