Hello.
I'm trying to setup NUT on Fedora Core 6 x86_64 and have little problems with it. SELinux is disabled at this time.
I have ups - MGE Nova 600 AVR connected on serial port. I've installed nut via yum package manager. Everything it seems to work fine, untill one powerfail. Upsmon detect that system is on battery. But when battery level reached "Battery Low" it
seems that
nut (upsd/mge-shut) never know that, and keep waiting until ups auto protection shut off the load, or if battery level reach 30%, which is the default factory setting for "Battery Low". But if last one happen system still can't shutdown properly because there just not enought time.
I can hear sound warrnings from the ups
for "Battery Low" but can't see (with KNut Client for example) Battery Low message/warrning ?
I think my configuration is correct:
ups.conf
[mgeups]
driver = mge-shut
port = /dev/ttyS0
desc = "Local UPS"
How can I fix this problem ?
Thank's.
Dimitar
