This might be the descriptor size missing.
A good test is the try the packages in Sid (2.0.5)
it can otherwise bean HAL issue.
please send me back the following info:
- dpkg -l nut-usb
- ps -efl | grep ups
btw, the "-x port=usb" is void.
fyi, the udev problem has received an update in etch (2.0.4-4 entered
etch the 9th march).
