[Nut-upsuser] upsmon keeps broadcasting on battery / on power (driver is newhidups)

ok, I received an amd64, installed an ubuntu on it (feisty herd5,
updated) and made some quick tests, but didn't see any problems.
The env is full 64b, and:
- Athlon 64 3500+
- kernel 2.6.20 (SMP)
- libusb 0.1.12
- nut 2.0.5 (stock ubuntu packages)
- Protection Center (USB) UPS

It is only running for few hours... so maybe the problem will arise later on.

I will now try to get a hand on a Pulsar M 2200 and see if I can
reproduce your problem with it.

Meanwhile, I'm interested in details such as the above (kernel and
libusb version), and some details about the problem (ie how / when it
exactly occurs, like as soon as upsmon is up ; after 3 hours of
uptime, ...).
