I have a Liebert UPS. It kind of works - connected via USB.
The problem that I have is that the UPS powers down too quickly
after it gives the 'shutdown' warning. There is some nasty Java
application that is supposed to control it, but I can't make it work.
The trouble is that the protocol to describe how to configure
it is deemed proprietary -- I have contacted Liebert, the guy reluctantly
said that he would ask managagement if they would release the specs,
never came back to me.

I suggest that we mark Liebert as 'partly' supported.

Until I can control Liebert properly I would not buy another one
and would not want others to make the same mistake.

The web site just lists things as supported -- some indication of
quality/goodness of support would be nice.
