Thanks for your report.
Everything seems fine, apart from the battery.date (2052/00/36), which
vaguely recall me something...
I've added this info to the Testing and trunk driver.list

New supported UPS for your list
Hello,
I've used your NUT software successfully with the APC Back-UPS XS 1500
LCD (
http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BX1500LCD
). I thought you might want to add this model to the
http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html page. If you need any
other information, please let me know.
For Fedora Core 8, the following packages were used:
nut-client-2.2.0-6.1.fc8
nut-2.2.0-6.1.fc8
libusb-0.1.12-10.fc8
libusb-devel-0.1.12-10.fc8
Besides that, it was just a matter of plugging the supplied USB cable from
the UPS to my Linux server, and doing base level configuration of NUT.
