The easiest way is to install the packages I provided for you. They put
hotplugging scripts where they should be.
If this is not ok, you'll have to install them yourself. Look at
scripts/udev.

/dev/usb/hiddev* is not used. We use /dev/bus/usb/<bus>/<device>.
Or you can specify -u root when starting the driver.
