If you care to receive help from this mailing list:

The 'productid' override is broken for the tripplite-hid subdriver in  
nut-2.4.1. This has been fixed in nut-2.4.2 so if you try that, the  
device most likely will be supported.

Arjen,
My installation is from an Ubuntu (Jaunty) package (2.4.1).  This is their latest.  I'm supposing you're going to recommend I install from source.  I'd rather not.  Is there a patch or something I can apply to my existing version?
