My bad, I should've included all that.

For completeness' sake: the driver is usbhid-ups
Version of NUT is 2.4.3-1ubuntu3.1 (installed via Ubuntu package manager)

While I was gathering output, I must've done something I hadn't tried
before because suddenly, magic-magic the UPS gets recognised.
