Not sure why it is not reporting load - the HID descriptor is certainly long enough.

Can you please send the output of "explore" mode?

/usr/local/libexec/nut/usbhid-ups -DD -a eaton9sx -x explore 2>&1 | tee /tmp/eaton9sx-explore.log

Let it run for about 60 seconds, then please gzip the log before sending it to the list.
