My question was answered by the FAQ (so kudos there) but oddly the 
question wasn't there (so made goggling the issue harder than it need be)


Suggested question: My UPS (an APC as it happens) lacks the field 
"battery.charge.restart" how will it know when to restart?

The key point is so "battery.charge.restart" (in the question) appears 
and so becomes "googlable".
