[Nut-upsuser] msmtp not running in upssched-cmd

where is its config file?

Should not be the case.

msmtp may use HOME variable to search for its config file, which may not 
exist when executed from upsmon.

do you have system-wide msmtprc? 

How did you configure upsmon to call msmtp?
