OS: Openmediavault 7.4.7-1
NUT version: 7.0.4-1
Intalled from OMV plugin installer
MY UPS: APC BX1200MI-GR
connected through USB
all of my UPS data are in this screenshot
my problem that i need help with is as follow:
so what's happening is if my gaming PC / router / switch are connected and power is down
the UPS switches normally without issues from AC to battery and vice versa when the power is back to the UPS
BUT when you add the SERVER PC and NUT commands the SERVER PC to shut down here where the problem occurs the UPS switches to battery mode and NEVER switches back to AC mode even though the power is back
and what is worse is that the UPS restarts itself after about 2 to 3 min
i'm contacting you directly because NUT is the reason for the issue IDK if it is a bug or intended
and in your documentation i saw that upsmon is the one controlling the UPS and i don't see how to properly do it when NUT command my SERVER PC to shut down after 15 sec when on battery and the server pc which has upsmon is off
what i want the UPS to do:
After NUT commands My server to shut down i want my UPS to keep running because there are other equipments connected to the UPS that i don't want them to shut down and also i want the UPS when the power is back to switch back to AC mode without needing to power cycle itself and shutting down my ROUTER and gaming PC with it
i'm not a professional with coding i can only edit some config files to match my usage and i desperately need you help
Thanks in advance.
