Cheers, a bit too late coming for your post - but just in case:

  a new driver is brewing at
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/pull/2629 for Vertiv/Liebert GXE
devices (those with serial/USB "YDN23" protocol, technically) and if you've
got the UPS you posted about, and it happens to work with this driver -
that would be great to know :) The PR is not merged just yet, but probably
will be during the day.

  For the time being (until NUT with it is released and packaged by
distros) you would need a custom build to check it:
