It is managed by systemd. Everything is working great, I just want to disable the beep when there is a power outage. >From the excellent docs, it was easy to figure out that I need $ upscmd eaton beeper.disable and indeed it works (after I authenticate). However, this setting is forgotten when the UPS and the system restarts. What should I do to make it permanent? best, Tamas K. Then you might have to use a separate systemd unit (bound after nut-server) to apply that upscmd every boot-time. I was thinking about running command to temporarily disable beeper some time after power comes out. So, I'd get one or two beeps and then silence. This would require upssched and testing. -- Matus UHLAR - fantomas, uhlar at fantomas.sk ; http://www.fantomas.sk/ Warning: I wish NOT to receive e-mail advertising to this address.
