Hrm.&nbsp; I compiled libusb 0.1.12 from scratch.&nbsp; I will try rebuilding it
with CFLAGS=-O and then recompile nut with CFLAGS=-O as well.&nbsp;
Sometimes, on this machine I have problems compiling programs with -O2
(causes gcc to segfault under some weird circumstances).<br>

So I did that recompile, re-plugged the UPS USB thing, and now it works
with usbhid-ups.&nbsp; Hopefully all the tinkering I've done will survive
the eventual reboot.&nbsp; Thanks everyone.<br>
