Read status lost after sync

I'm using offlineimap with Gmail apps as a backend.

Here is a snippet of my rc file:

  [Repository RemotePersonalComplete]
  type = Gmail
  remotehost = imap.gmail.com
  ssl = yes
  realdelete = no


When I move a 'new' email to a different directory, when the sync 
executes next, the read status is lost on that email. What I mean 
by that, is that it will appear as unread.

Do any of you have any ideas how to fix this?

Before I moved to Gmail apps, I do not remember having this 
problem.
