Maintainer proposal (was: Future of OfflineIMAP)

Hi all,

I have this idea in mind since some times now. I'm proposing you to
maintain the nice OfflineIMAP project.

I'm a maintainer and developer. I familiar with RoR, Python and Perl
languages. I didn't involved that much into this project until now, so
here is a start.

I'm very familiar with Git and sent some (very trivial) patches to the
latter.

As for many of us, I don't have a lot of free time but enough to
maintain this project, I think. Also and for the same reason, I'll need
time to be really familiar with the code.

You could find a fork at https://github.com/nicolas33/offlineimap . So
please, take this repository as upstream.

If you have patches, you may send them here as usual.

I'm open to any suggestion to make this project even more fun and
attractive. It concerns everythings related to OfflineIMAP : the tools
(mailing-list, forge) the code itself, and so on.

For now, I have in mind to :
- open a public forge ;
- start a repository refactoring to clean tags, branches, etc ;
- release a new version to be the official reference of the fork.

Have a nice hacking day,
