Just a side note. One of the reasons why I have never looked or
understood what happens here, is that this is a very murky and
undocumented area of code.

folder/IMAP.py:
    savemessage()
    savemessage_getnewheader(self, content):

are all pretty much underdocumented with lots of magic going on. I have
not dared touching or looking at this code as I don't get it. It
e.g. inserts that header without even giving a clue as to why it might
be needed or when. :-(
