Right, this is the crash that occurs when setting '-d thread' (which is
implied by ALL) in a python >=2.6.

It is a python issue http://bugs.python.org/issue4188 (although it is us
making use off semi-internal functionality in the threading module.

Do you get the same crash with -d imap,maildir?

We might want to completely disable the -d thread option for now and
rethink how to do a debug thread log.
