Hi Chris, is that part of your debug log correct? :
OfflineIMAP 6.2.0

In that case, I have no clue why it should stop working over night
suddenly when it worked before. But I also don't feel motivated to dig
through logs and code of versions from the stone age :-).

Yes Sebstian -- haha -- it's true - it happens with 6.2.0.

There is more:  it sits there, hung, uploading the first message to the remote IMAP server, for exactly 17 minutes (give or take 30 seconds?), then it gives this:

5:36:45am Copy message -2 MappedIMAP[INBOX/Drafts] -> IMAP[INBOX.Drafts], LocalStatus[INBOX.Drafts]
5:53:30am ( timeout  = just short of 17 minutes.)

(many pages of text scroll very fast. )
(long html escaped message,
with plenty of\r\n instead of newlines, to make one long string,
plenty of double quote inside the string, ending in a single quote.)
"imap: savemessage: new content length is 15160"
servername:~#

Any guess as to why it might be hanging some time before it prints "imap: savemessage: new content length is xxxxxx" ??
