Using Google's "two factor authentication"

I'm using it for both a Google Apps account and a personal Gmail account.

After you activate two-factor authentication, you just go to your
"Account Settings" page [1] and click "Edit" next to "Authorizing
Applications and Sites".

That page allows you to generate application-specific passwords.  Just
generate one for offlineimap and drop it into your
config/keychain/whatever.
