offlineimap crashes with blinkenlights UI

Hi everybody,

I use offlineimap-6.5.2.1 here together with python-2.7.2 and 3 IMAP accounts
and it always crashes after some time, when using the blinkenlights UI.
Using blinkenlights also leads into some weird output on the terminal, see [1].
I guess that the weird stuff seen on the screenshot is related to the crashes.
