Hi Matthieu,

I would be very happy if you could try the latest branch and report
whether it behaves differently (=better).

I would love to merge this patch in, as it would help performance quite
a lot, especially in the IMAP<->IMAP case.

THe branch "toSent/maildir_rename_file" in my repo
git://github.com/spaetz/offlineimap.git

Don't try this on your main mail asset, but use some test account.

Would love to hear your (or anyone elses feedback). I'd love to bring
this in rather soonish before it bitrots.
