xlabels

I am a mutt user and just today decided to try it with
offlineimap. Previously I used IMAP from mutt. I
had made a program to insert/edit X-Labels to classify my messages
after reading them, in order to emulate somehow gmail's
behavior. This program is called by mutt through a macro.
However, it seems to me that the locally edited messages are not
being synched back to my mail server when using offlineimap; when
using mutt/IMAP the locally edited messages do get back to the
server. Is my observation correct? Is there a way to convince
offlineimap that the edited messages have to be synched?
Thanks and best regards,
Luis
