After years of running OfflineIMAP, I have just started having this
happen, seemingly triggered at random, and infrequently.

So far, despite many many syncs in the last couple of weeks, one of
those syncs for each of my two accounts downloaded duplicates of all
messages. These were on different occasions -- different days. On these
two accounts, one is connecting to an Exchange server (via IMAP), and
the other to a Dovecot server I manage.

The "fix" was fairly straightforward: I just told mutt to delete the
dupes locally, and then synced again and all was good. Presumably, until
next time. And obviously the download of the dupes takes quite a while,
and I didn't want to interrupt it. I didn't detect any data loss.

But, what could be triggering this? I am running 6.5.7, on Archlinux. I
can't remember when I upgraded to 6.5.7, but I notice that both of the
instances of this are since this package was built/installed, on 15th
May.

Any suggestions on where to look?

Thanks,

Peter.
