New fresh sync without wipe remote

hi everybody,
I have a dumb question :

I'm syncing a gmal imap account ($ACCOUNT) locally and I want to wipe the
local mails and fresh re-sync from remote.
What I do:

- I delete the maildir for this $ACCOUNT
- I delete the ~/.offlineimap/$ACCOUNT/

offlineimap detect I delete the local and think I want to wipe remote also,
how can avoid this?

I'm pretty sure I've read something similar but I cannot find it anymore.
