I'm afraid "enough" is a little optimistic given the amount of work involved ;-) We are currently in a critical position with a lot of work to be done and not enough resources. If we put the bar to become Admin so high that even trusted members who did significant work are denied the benefit of being "in charge", it will drive them away for more agreeable projects.

I agree that since a DD is already in the web of trust, establishing trust is easier. That's why I propose that someone is given admin rights if and when trust has been established by other means. It takes longer but nowhere as long as becoming a DD.

There are very few technical things an "Admin" can do compared to a "Member". What really matters is that it conveys the message : "we all trust you enough to drive the project and you're welcome to take initiative, don't wait for us to have ideas, you're as much in charge as we are". We will never get enough of that kind of driving force.

Cheers
