[Openstack-devel] Intention to solve, but I have a question

Hi openstack maintainers

I'm now about to upload a fix for:
#677080 glance-common: fails to upgrade from 'testing': glance-common.postinst: 8: .: Can't open /usr/share/dbconfig-common/dpkg/postinst

The problem is that there is a source for dbconfig-common, in that
postinst.

The easy solution is to add a dependency, but I first would like
to ask why we source that file. I can not see that it is ever
used in any way. Do anyone know?

If I do not get an answer shortly I will simply remove that line
instead of adding the dependency.

I also have another question. It is that I get the following
error when I build.

    test_delete_not_existing                                    run_tests.sh: line 45: 12016 Segmentation fault      ${wrapper} $NOSETESTS 2> run_tests.err.log
make[1]: *** [override_dh_auto_test] Error 139
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ola/git/build-area/glance-2012.1'
make: *** [build] Error 2

the easy solution to that is to make sure that the tests are never run.
Have anyone seen this problem before?
