Package: nova-volume
Version: 2012.1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The init script for nova-volume is attempting to start the daemon using the --volume_group options to set the lvm volume group used for generating iSCSI targets. The version of nova-volume that is packages doesn't have this option and is failing silently. Starting the daemon by hand and naming the volume your nova-volumes, which is the default does work proper and new logical volumes are created as expected, without error.
