 I agree it's not ideal. Unfortunately, python3-padded was already NBS when I noticed python3-wmse was affected (due to wrong depends - it depends on python-ipaddr, not python3-ipaddr).

I can make it build-dep/depend on python3 (>= 3.3) | python3-ipaddr and drop the XP3V.  If you're okay with that I can upload an NMU if you don't want to worry about it.

I'm not keeping python3-ipaddr for Jessie, so that's probably the best way to solve it.
