Please don't take it this way. I've also wrote that I was comprehensive
since the release team has so much work.

I opened this one on 31 May 2014, and only got a reply on 20 Sep 2014,
then I focused on the newer release of Debian rather than the older.
Sorry, I should have write about it in the bug report.

Well, I still had no reply from the release team about this update. I
was hoping to get a first approval, get the update done, then work on
the next step (ie: reply to Moritz and check for the other CVEs).

So those 2 examples are also showing my lack of motivation for doing
these upgrades after a reply from the release team which was quite long.

BTW, we're now way past the support of OpenStack Essex, which for a long
long time, has lost security support from upstream. Even OpenStack
Icehouse, currently in Jessie, has no support upstream, and I have to do
security fix backports by myself. Doing them for a package which is 2
years older (so, 6 releases before what's currently supported) is too
hard. So I'm not working on this old version of the package anymore, but
only on what is currently in Jessie and Sid. I hope you understand why.

At this point, therefore, it is my view that #750010 and #719632 should
be closed without further action, unless someone steps in to do the work.

It is my view that all of this is very frustrating from all sides. :(

Let's all of us try to make things better. Could you approve or reject
this update for Swift?

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
