Hi,
I don't think we're ready for reverse (build-)dependency to use Python3.
We'll do this in due time, hopefully before Buster. Currently I'm still
validating OpenStack Pike with Python 2.7, then I'll attempt switching
everything to Python 3. If OpenStack passes tempest tests with Python 3
without regression, then I'll actively start removing Python 2 support.
This is the case for most packages in the OpenStack team.
Cheers,
