One more potential issue:

Debian docs:
# export NOVA_VERSION=1.1

(it fails with 1.1)
root at nova-server1:~# nova image-list
n/a (HTTP 400)

must be:
# export NOVA_VERSION=2.0

this looks like this:

root at nova-server1:~# export NOVA_VERSION=2.0
root at nova-server1:~# nova image-list

root at nova-server1:~#
It must be 2.0 ?
