Ah, you mean you'd pass on your pilot laptop to Max, and instead you use 
the one borrowed from the EP?

That's an excellent idea!

@Max: Can we meet Thursday before the meeting - e.g. eat lunch together? 
I need 15-30 minutes of your full attention to introduce you to your new 
DebianParl laptop.

@Those wondering about that special "pilot laptop": DebianParl is just a 
specific Debian setup and works fine on lots of different hardware.  
Some hardware, especially laptops, need custom tuning to work properly, 
however.  Therefore, for me to realistically offer support free of 
charge remotely from Denmark, the Greens/EFA pilot project uses only one 
laptop model where I hold a prototype of the hardware - Lenovo e145.

Erik and I have started testing another laptop model, available to 
staffers and MEPs in the EP (under some constraints, probably) - and 
hopefully we can expand the pilot to also cover those.
