[parted-devel] New stable branch on git repository

Hello folks,

When I was playing with git I did a mistake here and then I decided to
start a new stable branch for 1.8.x maintainence.

 - master: default branch and it's the base work of 2.0
 - stable-1.8.x: branch to maintain 1.8.x releases

The 1.8.x was deleted from Alioth repository. If you did any change on
it, there's no problem.

Do:

git pull

It'll grab the new branch, so you can:

git checkout stable-1.8.x

After that you can use:

git cherry-pick <sha1sum>

and  then the commit will be imported there.
