[parted-devel] will files be lost after I resize the partition?

Hi, all
   In FAQ, it is mentioned that I can't resize only
the partition, but leave the file system as it be.
Does it mean, if I resize a partition, such as enlarge
it from 800M to 2G, all the files once on the
partition will not be accessed any more?
