Thats just my point.  Its new.   So instead of putting it in for 1.8.9
we can start to put it in a branch that will be merged into master in
the future (after 1.8.9)

Which ones?  Where are the mails bug reports? and, can we fix them
without introducing a whole new subsystem to parted?
