Why would you think I disagree?
Perhaps you missed the message in which I wrote this:

  > If you can come up with reliable FS-independent code
  > to move a partition and its file system, please post it.

Parted's FS-dependent code is broken, and should be removed ASAP,
before even more people rely on it and lose data.
Since "move" currently relies on that code, it risks
being a temporary casualty.
