Odd indeed.  This is the first I've heard of your problems.
You wrote to the write people.  I'm sure we'll work out a fix,
both for this particular problem and the more general one.

FYI, there are some changes in the works (e.g., a new CMS system
so it's easy to see status) for the copyright management side of things.
