Hello Phillip,

Sorry for not answering your earlier question. I was busy with 'Anaconda'
related changes.

When alloc is called the disk label is blank. But after reading the disk
it identifies this kind of disk and sets the required information.

Why 'dasd_read' sets the required for this kind of disk is, partition
can not be created/deleted for these kind of disks. So setting required
at the time of read itself.
